MÉtis Restaurant And Gallery Appoints Franco Cusumano As Sales And Marketing Director

BALI, INDONESIA – MÉTIS Restaurant and Gallery, a sensory dining experience borne of the pleasures of living, today named Swiss-born Franco Cusumano to its team as sales and marketing director. He will focus on sales strategies to target hospitality groups, special events functions, M.I.C.E. (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) market segment, as well as liaise with key travel management companies worldwide.

“Cusumano’s 19-year record of success and his thorough knowledge of the hospitality industry is a welcome addition into our team,” Said Alem stated. “His intimate understanding of the local market, and expertise in sales, business development and operations provides a strong foundation for driving our sales and marketing strategy across Asia-Pacific and worldwide.”

Prior to joining MÉTIS, Cusumano most recently served as the general manager for award-winning Hotel Hacienda San Antonio el Puente, a five-star boutique resort in Morelos, Mexico.

Previously, Cusumano orchestrated overall hospitality and financial operations as the general manager for the Mosquito Hotel & Resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and Losari Coffee Plantation Resort and Spa in Jogyakarta, Indonesia. In addition, he held sales and marketing roles at Sobek Bali Utama, Bali Bird Park and Lotus Restaurants, to mention a few. Further, he speaks fluent English, Italian, French, Indonesian, Spanish and German.
