Sept. 2, 2009 - PRLog -- Toll Brothers is pleased that as a result of an event held at its Newtown Walk community in June, a child’s wish was fulfilled.  Newtown Walk was the host and sponsor of “Make a Wish Come True” - an art show/sale and wine tasting event.  The evening featured a gallery showcase of works by locally renowned artists, wine tasting, and raffles from local area businesses.  Proceeds from the art sale as well as personal donations, benefited the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Philadelphia and Susquehanna Valley.

Just thirteen years old, Matthew, from Holland, PA wished for a trip to Aruba with his family.  The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Philadelphia and Susquehanna Valley granted Matthew’s wish and recently sent the family on an all expense paid six-day vacation to the beautiful island.

“We were honored to sponsor this event which helped fulfill the wish of a young child, said Kristin Nelson, sales manager.  “The event was a big success and Toll Brothers is glad to have the opportunity to help children in need and give back to the community,” added Nelson.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® enriches the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work.  With the help of generous donors and more than 25,000 volunteers, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has granted more than 180,000 wishes to children in the United States and its territories since 1980. The Philadelphia and Susquehanna Valley chapter serves ten area counties.  For more information, visit Philadelphia.Wish.org.
