The eagerly awaited first single from Danny Morris will be played by Neil Fitzmaurice at 09:30 on Liverpool’s City Talk 105.9FM this coming Saturday.
The single, written and produced by Danny, was performed live to over 16,000 people at Rhyl’s Fun in the Sun and Manchester Pride and was an immediate hit. After Danny had finished his set at Pride his manager, Paul Chadd, was approached by a number of industry professionals showing an interest in working with Danny.
Paul said “Originally Waiting 4 Your Heart 2 Call was a slow emotive song, Danny then decided to make it into a catchy “Summer Feel Good tune” and when we heard both versions we just couldn’t decide which one to release. However after the feedback from the weekend we now have no doubt the upbeat Didle mix will be available for download very shortly”
Since the breakup of Eton Rd in October 2008 Danny has been working hard writing and recording his own material and performing at numerous high profile events. It seems fitting that on 22 October 2008 Danny launched his solo career at the 10 TwentyTwo Casting annual party and this October – just one year later – he will be launching his first solo single. Danny said “The last 12 months have been some of the best times I have had in this industry. I now have a great team working with me including my manager Paul, our choreographer Craig Johnston and our dancers Lee, Rachael, John, Lara, Josh, Lorna, Matt & Carly. We have an amazing show that we can put out now and I am so proud of what we have all achieved. The release of my first single is the icing on the cake”
