Akil Wingate Debuts New Single "IT'S OKAY"

Whatever the verdict may be, Akil follows up his success as featured vocalist and singer-songwriter on numerous European dance hits with his forthcoming solo album AVARICE. It’s unapologetic in its mélange of rock and soul with gospel-tinged vocals.

His first single “It’s Okay” is an emotionally honest confessional of love and loss. His ever-devoted female audience has always connected to Akil’s choice of emotional honesty and open-hearted frankness over his male contemporaries’ choice of bravado and machismo.
