An uplifting, moving and inspiring piece of television, The Choir Series One will be released on DVD on 7 September 2009 courtesy of Acorn Media to coincide with the broadcast of the third series on BBC2.
Northolt High School is an everyday comprehensive with an everyday mix of children that range from the somewhat motivated to the extremely disinterested. Are they likely to want to join a choir? And sing classical music? In a foreign language? These are just a handful of the challenges Gareth faces, along with naturally rebellious kids, some of whom need more inspiration than others.
