Uniter Group Ltd, a leading provider of technical support solutions, has become the latest member of the Technology Channels Association (TCA), the newly formed body that incorporates the Professional Computing Association (PCA) and the Mac Technology Association (MTA).
Formed on 9th July 2009, the TCA is a not for profit professional trade association that represents many of the UK’s leading technology service providers, vendors, distributors and resellers operating in the IT supply channel. It is responsible for facilitating business and is committed to raising standards through the implementation of good business practices throughout the industry.
According to Jason Williams, a director of the Uniter Group: “We are committed to operating to the highest quality standards using best practice processes and procedures throughout the business. The TCA shares our aims and objectives in this respect and being an accredited member will set us apart from other organisations that operate outside these formal guidelines. We will also be seeking to establish partnerships with other TCA accredited members that will enhance the delivery of IT services to our customers.”
“Membership of the TCA provides customers with an assurance of quality in their dealings with our accredited members who must confirm to our professional code of conduct when dealing with their customers,” added Keith Warburton, CEO of the TCA. “We are delighted that, as one of the sector’s leading provider of technical support solutions, the Uniter Group has made the commitment to join our professional association. We will be seeking their input as we further strengthen our Code to ensure improvements across the industry as part of our overall strategy to adopt best practice methodologies across all relevant channels.”
