By: Pepperdine University “We recognize that professionals with a high GPA from an AACSB accredited school have already demonstrated mastery of some of the foundational MBA subject areas, and consequently we are providing them the option to fast-track to their elective subjects,” Dr. Mooney said. The Fast-Track MBA option will be available to those high-performing Pepperdine students earning their bachelor’s completion degree, the Bachelor of Science in Management (http://bschool.pepperdine.edu/ The new FEMBA Fast-Track MBA introduces the option to waive up to three core courses. Instead of the required 52 semester units of study, qualifying applicants will be considered for 40-units of course work. The Graziadio School’s trademark flexible scheduling structure remains available, allowing students to tailor the time needed to complete the degree to their current life and work situation and take advantage of multiple campuses in Irvine, West Los Angeles, Encino and Westlake Village, as well as classes on-site at Boeing’s Huntington Beach offices. The flagship FEMBA program can be completed in 24 months of continuous study taking a minimum of 8 units of coursework per trimester plus additional workshops over 4 weekends. With the Fast-Track MBA option, the candidate can earn a MBA degree within 20 months of continuous study. The Fast-Track MBA waiver option would only apply to FEMBA core courses that are comparable to upper division undergraduate coursework that the candidate has already completed. The core courses must be within the emphasis area the candidate intends to pursue.
