Who will be Miss dEdmonton?

To celebrate the inaugural year of dEdmonton: Canada's Hallowen Festival, the search is now on for the very first Miss dEdmonton.  From September 1st, 2009 through September 30th, 2009 dEdmonton.com is accepting submissions of original 90 second videos to help them determine just who is the spookiest one of all.

Over the next year Miss dEdmonton will tell the world about dEdmonton.  She will appear in parades and zombie walks; entertaining children of all ages, and mingling with all manner of nightlife.  And there will be blood - lots and lots of blood.   Miss dEdmonton will be the most gorgeously gruesome and delectably decaying damsel in all of dEdmonton.

Five finalists will be selected from the internet submissions based on internet ratings and on the opinion of a panel of judges. On October 13, 2009 the winner will be chosen in person - taking into account appearance, general Halloween knowledge, overall entertainment value, and the all-important ability to SCREAM!

Visit www.dEdmonton.com/miss-dEdmonton for Contest Rules and Information.  Then practice your Screams and Spooky Skills, grab your video camera, and head to YouTube to upload your submission. Remember to place “Miss dEdmonton” in both the description and tags, and to email contest@dEdmonton.com with the details of your entry.
