Dr. K. M. Cherian’s Frontier Lifeline Hospital Signs Mou With Bsnl

PR Log (Press Release) – Sep 01, 2009 – BSNL to provide world class telecommunication facilities at Frontier Mediville. As part of the MoU, BSNL will provide complete telecom solutions, including voice, data, WiFi hotspots, video and audio conferencing facility, broadband, leased lines and wireless services at Frontier Mediville.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Mr. M. P. Velusamy, Chief General Manager, BSNL - Chennai Telephones and Dr. K. M. Cherian, Chairman & CEO, Frontier Lifeline & Dr. K. M. Cherian Heart Foundation.  

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Cherian said, “At Frontier Mediville, we are committed to providing the best in terms of reliable and state-of-the-art secured networks with a bouquet of voice, video and data services. We are pleased to partner with BSNL in this endeavour.”

BSNL will cater to all the telecommunications requirements of the National Medical Science Park, Bio-Hospital, Herbarium, Medical University, Research & Training Centre, Sterile Bio-Medical Corridor and residential buildings coming up at Frontier Mediville.

Various services that will be provided by BSNL include landlines with CLIP phones, free phoner plus services, free centrex, mobile services, Broadband and WiFi services, EPBAX and voice solutions, Mobile CUG, VSAT solutions, Blackberry solutions and smart PCOs etc. BSNL will also take care of the specific needs of various types of services that would be offered at Frontier Mediville.

ABOUT FRONTIER MEDIVILLE

Frontier Mediville is a 350 acre bio city including an SEZ, on the NH 5 near Gummidipundi, a joint venture with TIDCO. It is a completely green project with a rural background, with proper energy utilization and waste management. Due emphasis on research and basic sciences would be given to focus on a world class bio park. As has been brought out earlier, a 1000 bedded bio hospital, a medical college, a herbarium, a research facility and a world class convention hall are planned here. These facilities will require the best available communications world wide in order to meet the growing dependence on the world wide web and telecommunications.
