LexAlign Applications Inc. ("Lexalign") announces the release of “Sign Here”, an iPhone App that enables users to create, electronically sign, and email business and legal documents from their iPhone or iPod Touch.
Sign Here enables iPhone users to easily create legally binding documents by answering a series of questions on their mobile devices. One of the unique features of this innovative app is that users no longer need to print or fax - users can review documents, sign on the touch screen and email the documents to anyone.
The Sign Here application includes unlimited use of the Simple Receipt and the IOU documents and access to many more documents.
LexAlign's corporate policy is to provide significant cost savings to the user when compared to attorney fees or online document creation websites. The application is one of the first to take advantage of the In-App Purchase feature included in OS 3.0 to create a credit system that allows micro-purchases of individual documents, often for prices lower than the standard minimum of $0.99.
Lexalign has addressed legal concerns with electronic signatures by designing its app to be compliant with the 2000 U.S. Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN), the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA), and the European Directive (EC/1999/93)
With Sign Here, users can sign their newly created documents with their finger as they would with a pen. While the signature may not be identical to one’s signature created with a pen, it is just as legally binding.
Sign Here further advances Apple's goal of positioning the iPhone as the mobile device of choice for business users.
The first release of Sign Here includes the following documents:
Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Bill of Sale
Late Payment letter
Demand Letter
Simple Receipt
Rent Receipt
Release of Information
Corporate / Directors Resolution
Promissory Note
Lottery Pool Agreement
Basic Agreement
Declaration of Trust
Certification of Ownership
Sign Here is available worldwide for download in the iTunes App Store.
