Vertical Streaming's superior content delivery network allowed special events from the Cannes Film Festival to be viewed in real time during the live broadcast. The stream was viewable only to film students and various film aficionados with privately issued passwords via their personal computer; accessible by logging into custom web sites created to reinforce the respective brands of the sponsors.
The live broadcast provided the experience of attending the Cannes Film Festival without the expense, hassle and time associated with physical travel.
