ApogeeInvent announced today that Lindsey Winsemius has been named President of the company, effective immediately. Winsemius replaces Joseph Frazier, who recently stepped down to take on the position of Director of the company's Research and Development.
Winsemius will be focusing on policy development and managing the budget for scalability, due to recent exponential growth for ApogeeInvent. This growth includes an increase in staff to handle record high sales volumes for the company in recent months. Winsemius, prior to being appointed by the Board, worked with the company as Manager in the business development department, overseeing all content development and contract writing.
"As we grow as a company, developing a strong internal infrastructure and communication techniques will be imperative to our success. Without scalability, any system will fail as it attempts to grow and expand. A company is no different. While it will be challenging, this is a necessary process in the overall success of our company and everyone on the team. Lindsey's experience as a technical writer and adminstrative manager, as well as her superior communication skills, make her the perfect choice for this job. We have been planning this transition for some time, and I am very excited to see what Lindsey will continue to improve for our company," comments Beto Paredes, Chief Executive Officer.
Lindsey Windsemius has 5+ years of administrative management experience in directing policy development with several non profits and working as an Executive Assistant. She also has extensive technical writing experience, and has managed the balance between client and company expectations for years as an Editor for a large publishing company. Both her administrative and technical writing skills have been an asset throughout her time with ApogeeInvent, and drive the operational development within the continued growth of the company. She has a BA in Anthropology and a second major in Psychology from Michigan State University.
