TMA Resources, the leader in member-centric software, today announced that Personify 7.1.1 and TIMSS 6.5.1 have been validated as PA-DSS compliant payment applications. Leveraging PA-DSS validated payment applications will assist associations in achieving PCI compliance (PCI DSS) requirements for their organization.
In their efforts to achieve compliance TMA Resources was assisted by a third-party Payment Application Qualified Security Assessor (PA-QSAs).
Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) is the Council-managed program formerly under the supervision of the Visa program known as the Payment Application Best Practices (PABP). The goal of PA-DSS is to help software vendors and others develop secure payment applications. Visa has mandated that credit card merchants must be using PA-DSS validated payment applications by July, 2010.
“We are pleased to have completed the stringent PA-DSS certification process. This certification demonstrates TMA Resources’ commitment to developing secure systems that will help associations minimize risk of data compromises and security breaches and reduce the threat of credit card theft,” says Edi Dor, President & CEO of TMA Resources.

“Being the first and, as of today, the only AMS solution vendor listed as a PA-DSS compliant solution increases the value of Personify and TIMSS and more importantly gives our customers the peace of mind that their AMS is in compliance with industry standards and their members’ credit card information is protected,” added Dor.
