SentryCom launches MAC - Managed Authentication & Crypto - Software-as-a-Service in pre-production.

PRLog (Press Release) – Sep 01, 2009 – . The growth of Identity Theft and the need to provide mass-market solution to this problem has resulted in the development of MAC – Managed Authentication & Crypto Software-as-a-Service from SentryCom Ltd.
MAC is based on proprietary and patented technologies developed by SentryCom.
State-of-the-art hardware tokens (One-Time-Password-based and Digital Certificate-based) are failing to answer the market needs in three major aspects:
1.   Insecurity: SilentBanker Trojan was able to circumvent OTP tokens to steal money from customers from 400 banks worldwide.
2.   Inconvenience: The need to carry multiple tokens to access multiple domains, portals, etc.

To validate MAC performance excessive testing was performed with Analyst Online web-site, Israeli Standards Institute, Rolls-Royce from UK, Rome Municipality from Italy and IBM Global Services. These field tests allowed developing integration interfaces that allows MAC to be integrated with Enterprise infrastructure in extremely short time, suitable for Software-as-a-Service business model.
To this end SentryCom has validated its platform with industry leaders such as IBM, HP, Microsoft, Novell and Avaya . SentryCom products are certified as Ready for Tivoli and Ready for WebSphere by IBM , Ready for Border Manager by Novell and Avaya Verified Compliant.
