University of Phoenix and the Boys and Girls Club of the Midlands have a strong partnership. University of Phoenix has provided five full-tuition scholarships to five individuals affiliated with Boys and Girls Club of the Midlands for each of the past three years. Last spring University of Phoenix began a tutoring program providing after-school homework assistance to students at the North and South Units of the Boys and Girls Club of the Midlands.
The first forum will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at the North Omaha Boys and Girls Club, 2610 Hamilton Street. On Wednesday, September 2, 2009 a forum will be held at the South Omaha Unit, 5051 South 22nd Street. A complete schedule and locations is listed below.
