The tables being offered fall into two broad categories. Half of them are made from pieces of natural stone tile, which are cut or crushed to form the various design patterns found in these models. The second category consists of tables crafted from cut pieces of porcelain tile, which are also arranged in a variety of patterns.
There are 30 different mosaic patterns within the collection. Each one features a unique arrangement of tiles made from a variety of materials. These arrangements consist of both straight geometrically cut pieces, as well as crushed and randomly chiseled stone tiles. Each of these patterns can be built into one of 15 different size or shape combinations. This means that technically the collection consists of over 450 possible table combinations.
This number is further augmented by a variety of optional features that are available such as illuminated onyx rings, and optional umbrella holes.
These tables are built using a super light but highly durable core, which is then layered with the mosaic tile pieces. This means that the tables are ultra light and lithe, and are much more easily transportable than pure stone tables.
The tables are crafted of durable stone, and are treated to be able to withstand the elements, so they can be used indoors or outdoors. However outdoor tables will tend to wear down, getting an antiqued look, which indoor tables won’t be subject to.
One of the truly unique features of this new line is the optional illuminated onyx ring which can be installed in the face of each piece. This ring consists of a thin line of honey onyx mosaics, which are backlit using a fixture attached to a cord. This allows the beauty of these tables to be enjoyed both during the day, and at night.
