The Wireless Industrial Networking Alliance (WINA), expert wireless resource for the industrial market, will present a live webinar on September 29, 2009 on the role of wireless communications as part of a control system’s architecture and strategy.
The live webinar, “Wireless and Your DCS (Distributed Control System)—Are You Ready?” will be a collaboration of three WINA members from leading industrial automation companies, Honeywell, Invensys, and Yokogawa: Hesh Kagan, Invensys Process Systems Director of Technology for New Business Development, Dr. Penny Chen, Principal Systems Architect at Yokogawa's Industrial Automation Global Strategic Technology Marketing Center, and David Kaufman, Director of Business Development for the Honeywell Process Solutions business. The webinar will be moderated by Andrew Bond, contributing editor of Control Global magazine and publisher of the monthly newsletter Industrial Automation INSIDER.
