Dawna Lee Heising and John Alsedek of Eye on Entertainment on Time Warner Cable conducted interviews on the red carpet at the 36th Annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards® on Saturday, August 29, at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles, CA. Emmy Award-winning game show host Alex Trebek served as the master of ceremonies with many Emmy-nominated presenters and other special guests. Trebek has been the host of the game show Jeopardy! since 1984. He has been awarded five Outstanding Game Show Host Emmy Awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. LA’s own Hector Delgado, noted DJ and R&B, Hip-Hop and Gospel producer performed at the ceremony and provided music for the Creative Arts after-party that immediately followed. Pre-ceremony music was provided by Roberto Granados.
The Daytime Creative Arts EMMY Awards recognize outstanding achievement in all creative fields of daytime television production and are presented to individuals and programs broadcast from 2:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. during the 2008 calendar year.
