Clearwater, FL – Friday night (June 19th, 2009) the lights were up, the music was hot and the 500+ guests at PostcardMania’s Grand Opening were all smiles as CEO, Joy Gendusa, opened the doors to her new digs for everyone to see!

The party was poppin’ with an open bar, live DJ, and even PostcardMania’s own hip-hop dance group, “The Maniacs,” performing to an original PostcardMania hip-hop music mix. Guests included David Glass of Tampa Bay CEO Magazine, Bob Clifford, CEO of Clearwater Chamber of Commerce, Timothy Seward, CEO of ROI Revolution, Ambassadors of the Clearwater & St. Petersburg Chambers, Miss Florida and many others!

PostcardMania not only threw a great party for the attending guests, but they also went live with a digital Grand Opening for those who couldn’t make it. Using current social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc., PostcardMania created and set up live streaming video of the entire event. Viewers didn’t miss a beat, from the ribbon cutting ceremony to the dance performance, to one-on-one interviews with guests.

A project 2 years in the making, PostcardMania CEO, Joy Gendusa and staff worked tirelessly putting the new building and Grand Opening together. The catering was provided by Lisa Switzer, Mailing Services Manager and the dance was choreographed by Ferris Stith, PR Director, and performed by several staff from various divisions throughout the company. One staff member in particular, who had put in countless hours and hard work to finish the building on time, Vice President of I/T, Christian Jacobsen, was presented with the first ever “We Can’t Live Without You” award.

“It is said that it is taboo in business to let any of your people think they can’t be replaced… I say hogwash! I have many staff that I simply cannot live without and I am happy for them to know that.” says Gendusa. “Christian truly deserves this recognition for everything he has done for this group.”

The night was full of excitement. This was definitely a party like no other…it was PostcardMania style!
