Realizing the dearth for premium Indian designer wear online, Cbazaar.com decided to launch RaiR - its own designer label last year. It was an attempt to provide quality and true blue Indian designer outfits at the most reasonable prices possible. After 2 successful seasons, of providing quality and service to clients abroad through the online medium www.cbazaar.com decided to set up a physical store for the Indian customer who is still wary of trusting the internet enough to buy designer wear from.

The store would deal with both, prêt-a-porter as well as couture, showcasing a wide range of fashionable and unique fabrics ranging from pure chiffons, pure georgettes to intricately woven silk brocades. Carefully sorted and selected by the store’s panel. All this would also be supported by matching accessories such as handbags, clutch bags, batuas, potlis, etc. The store would also exclusively showcase jewelry designed by Neeru Goel one of Delhi’s leading jewelry designers.
The store will look to cater to women, teenagers and men for any party, wedding, bridal or eveningwear. Working women looking at semi formal Indian and indo-western styles could definitely look towards finding styles with a touch of difference.
The store boasts of a couture section that have their own in house designers be it a new saree design, blouse pattern or even a Salwar suit. Anusha, a fashion designer from B.D. Somaani Fashion Institute Mumbai, having 10 years of experience in designing and also in complete construction of fashion garments would handle the store. Gunjan, a fashion designer based from Dehradun, experience in working with famous international fashion brands like Calvin Klein, Marlboro Classic, Levis etc with a special expertise in ethnic clothing especially blouse styles and patterns with inspiration from Bollywood and Kavitha, a jewelry designer, from NIFT would make up the team of the store’s in-house designers. The team of designers would be supported by an in-house production unit that has a special team to check on quality and make a deliberate and careful effort to see that every design is exclusive and not repeated.
The companies is looking at setting up two more stores in Chennai within the next twelve months and also focus on expanding its presence to Coimbatore, Bangalore and Kerala.
