Doubleheader weekend announced of final XTRM AMA Pro Racing Supermoto Championship pro rounds

Aug. 28, 2009 - PRLog -- Notification of doubleheader weekend of final XTRM AMA Pro Racing Supermoto Championship pro rounds

XTRM Sports Network, announces that the final two rounds of the XTRM AMA Supermoto Pro Racing Championship Series will be combined into one big blowout finale weekend.  The final two pro rounds will both be held on Sunday, September 6th at Miller Motorsports Park in UT.  The ultimate champion will be crowned after the final race Sunday.  

Supermoto has very dedicated and passionate athletes, fans, sponsors and promoters.  The finale weekend will be a brilliant showcase of not only the sport, but just how tough the Supermoto riders are.  Two races in the same day!  Who will come out on top?  Will Jeff Ward hold on to the top position in the Premier class?  It will be one for the ages with riders like Burkhart, Bidart, Dymond and Costella on his heels.  It will be a weekend packed with twisting speed, surviving the dirt and banging bars across the finish.  

This change of venue for the final round, originally slated for September 20th at Mammoth Mountain, CA, has come about due to the failure of sponsorship commitments.

The 7th round of 8 total rounds for the Amateur Series will still be held Saturday at Miller Motorsports Park as scheduled.  However, the final round of the amateur series is being postponed.  XTRM is currently investigating options for the final round and hopes to have additional information in the weeks to come.

Saturday, September 5: Rider registrations, practice, amateur heats & mains
Sunday, September 6: Main program rounds 4 & 5 - Pro inspections, pro timed practice, pro heats & mains
