“Celebrating Those Who Answer The Call” Daniel J. "Rusty" Staub, Chairman of the Board, and Stephen J. Dannhauser, Chairman, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and President of the Board are pleased to announce that the Mayors of New York City, Michael Bloomberg, Rudolph Giuliani, David Dinkins and Edward Koch, have agreed to be honored at the 24th annual benefit dinner of the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund, to be held on Thursday, October 8 at the New York Hilton Grand Ballroom.
Cocktail reception at 6:00 p.m. Dinner and awards program, with entertainment and special guests, begins at 7:30 p.m.

Founded in 1985 by Rusty Staub, by the end of this year, the Benefit Fund will have distributed more than $114 million to approximately 700 widows, widowers and children of Police, Fire, Port Authority and EMS personnel who died in the line of duty. The Benefit Fund also provides a network of community support and special events throughout the year.
