CLMI-Blueprints for Safety was founded in 1984 by Richard Pollock, CSP and former Corporate Safety Director for Medtronic, the biomedical manufacturing giant. In the beginning through CLMI, Mr. Pollock developed the first OSHA Employee Right-to-Know chemical safety compliance system for Minnesota employers. Two years later, when federal OSHA issued the Hazard Communication Standard, it launched CLMI-Blueprints for Safety into national prominence. Since these early years, Mr. Pollock and CLMI-Blueprints for Safety have gone on to create more than 500 OSHA and safety related programs designed to make compliance easy for employers.
With the Blueprints for Safety system, CLMI designed a simple step-by-step approach to OSHA compliance. http://www.clmi-
