Fancy becoming a Lingerie Model?
Plymouth, Devon: 28 year old Brazilian beauty, Adriana Lima has been named the Hottest Lingerie Model on the Planet, in a poll carried out by online retailer Wickedelic Lingerie. Lima, best known as a Victoria's Secret model, topped the poll with a third of votes, ahead of Desperate Housewives star, Eva Longoria and fellow Brazilian stunner Gisele Bundchen in third spot.
Longoria, 31, posed for a saucy underwear campaign eight years ago when she was a struggling actress eager for her big Hollywood break, whilst Bundchen is the highest-paid model in the world with an estimated $150m fortune. Meanwhile, controversial Brit model, Kate Moss and new ‘It Girl’, Daisy Lowe, were the only Brits to make the list.
The poll was voted for by Wickedelic Lingerie customers, at the launch of the brand’s search for the UK’s next lingerie supermodel, where twelve real girls will be given glamorous makeovers, and become pin-up stars, in a charity calendar for Help For Heroes. They will then face a public vote, with one going on to become the Face of Wickedelic Lingerie.
Spokesperson, Nik Grant said, “When you look at the survey’s results, you’ll see that most of the top ten are as popular for the way they relate to the public, as their appearance. This has inspired us to find the new Face of Wickedelic Lingerie in the biggest, and most fair lingerie model search of 2009, where every girl that enters will have an equal chance of winning this once-in-a-lifetime prize.”
Nik continued, “We’re looking for twelve girls from around the UK who can emulate these TV presenters’ warmth, confidence and likability, whilst the lingerie makes them look a million dollars. Aside from being over 18 years old, there are no age or size restrictions, and we’re looking forward to seeing the very best of British beauty, in all its forms.”
