Aug. 28, 2009 - PRLog -- The Deucenberg Making West Coast Debut at Goodguys West   Coast Nationals

   Gadsden, AL – August 21st 2009, following a weekend stop at the exclusive Concorso Italiano in Monterey, CA, the 1932 Ford B-400 “Deucenberg” makes its debut as the 23rd Annual Goodguys West Coast Nationals kicks off August 21st in Pleasanton, CA. This year’s Nationals will feature many of the West Coast’s finest hot rods and customs as well as the return of the popular Most Beautiful Street Rod award.
         Johnson’s Hot Rod Shop will be gunning to be named one of the five finalists vying for the honor to be named Most Beautiful Street Rod with the “Ridler Award” winning 1932 Ford B-400 “Deucenberg”, owned by Doug Cooper. Along with the B-400, the crew will be debuting their latest ’32 Ford Roadster project and a recently finished ’33 Ford 5-W Coupe showcasing the shop’s many talents and skills of the JHRS craftsmen. Along with the hot rod projects in attendance, the JHRS crew will have a busy weekend ahead as they will be manning the Perfection Hot Rod Parts display located in the manufacturers’ midway.
