Stay Religious or Political, not Both, Mediazone Boss Tells Dalai Lama

Regional publisher and strategic Think Tank Mediazone Group opposes Dalai Lama's meddling with regional politics and stirring up trouble in the wake of his visit to Taiwan.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug 27, 2009 -
In the wake of the Dalai Lama's visit to Taiwan to allegedly calm victims of the typhoon disaster, Hong Kong-based regional publisher and Think Tank Mediazone Group advised the Dharamsala to make up its mind if it was religious or political.

In an open letter to His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Mediazone Group CEO Glenn Rogers wrote, 'it is embarrassing to have to tolerate heads of religion at all, given the divisive nature of their work. But, to endure someone using religion as a cover for subversive activity is downright ridiculous. We do not and cannot judge your intentions but the results of your actions which should be obvious to you by now."

"It is sad to have to point out to the head of a religion that your role under any circumstances is not expected to extend beyond the guiding of souls. Your meddling in politics especially in the balance of power between China and Taiwan is unbecoming of a religious head and calls into question your intentions."

"We respect you as head of a major religion, even commend some of your good work and lastly we offer you our advisory services on a complimentary basis. Do try not to keep one foot in two very different boats sir."
