Diversity Community Foundation will begin its first its 2009 workshop free series on Saturday, September 26, 2009. The theme for the workshop series “Dream Builders: Each 1 Teach 1!”
Diversity Community Foundation is a non-profit organization that is committed to the success of minority males from 8th grade to age 21 in making positive contributions to society. Diversity Community Foundation’s primary goals are to decrease minority male high school dropout rate, decrease minority male incarceration rate, and increase minority male literacy through college and career readiness. Our motto at Diversity Community Foundation is Dream Builders “each one teach one”. Saturday, September 26, 2009 at10:00a.m. The event will be held at 1008 Bullard Court Suite 203 in Raleigh, North Carolina located in near the intersection of Spring Forest and Millbrook Road.
The event will is free and open to males 8th grade to age 21 from Wake, Durham, Lee, Harnett, and Johnson counties.
This event will serve as the kickoff event for Diversity Community Foundation. Middle and high school principals, community leaders, youth ministries are encouraged to support groups of young men who will benefit from knowledge that will be offered by this program.
