Boston staffing firm, Hollister, welcomes Olivia Wright, a North Cambridge Catholic student, who, as a participant in her school’s Corporate Work-Study Program, will serve the company during the 2009-2010 academic year.
In an effort to foster self-confidence and inspire ambitions, the North Cambridge Catholic Corporate Work-Study Program offers students corporate experience by placing them in internships with local Boston businesses. Throughout the academic year, students like Wright gain practical skills at entry-level jobs, the earnings from which finance the majority of their school tuition.
“I am thrilled to begin another academic year with North Cambridge Catholic,” said Hollister Founder & CEO, Kip Hollister. “Over the years, I have witnessed how this program builds dreams and self-esteem in its students. I look forward to welcoming Olivia to our team and observing her growth over the next year.”
Wright, a sophomore at North Cambridge Catholic, hopes to become a counselor and looks forward to traveling to Rome, Italy. She is a resident of Lynn, MA and is a graduate of the KIPP Academy.
Hollister serves on the board of North Cambridge Catholic High School, and her company is one of several Boston companies that employ North Cambridge students through the school’s Corporate Work Study Program.
