ROCHESTER, NY – FANSHOES, a new shoe company that specializes in footwear designed with collegiate logos and colors, will be at the University of Buffalo for the school’s annual Welcome Back Bash this Saturday, August 29 in the Student Alumni Union.
The event is part of the welcome week for incoming freshmen and returning students and FANSHOES will be there to promote the shoes as “must-have”
FANSHOES is excited for the event. Gabriel Ankamafio-Adjei, Founder of the company said, “FANSHOES excitement has been building for the past few months, and this event at UB is the icing on-top! The first FANSHOES shoe to be worn by any college student in the world will be a UB Bulls fan, and that makes us very happy.” The company is based in Rochester is proud to launch their product at a school in Upstate New York.

Britton Nemecek, Webmaster and co-founder for FANSHOES said, “The process from inception to now has been a lot of work on the shoulders of three people [Gabriel, Nick, and myself] and I think we’ve accomplished a lot in the past five months. It will be interesting to see what the reaction from students and the UB community will be.”
