Aug 27, 2009 – Atlanta, GA. Tile Partners for Humanity, Inc. (TPFH), a partner with Habitat for Humanity International, announced today that Rubble Tile, a supporter of Tile Partners for Humanity, Inc., has generously donated floor tile through TPFH to the Wild Rivers Habitat for Humanity. This donation was used to help build simple, decent and affordable housing for low income families in their local communities.

Many thanks to Skip and the expediency with which Rubble Tile and TPFH helped to obtain the tile”, says Marilyn Nehring, Wild Rivers Habitat for Humanity. “I personally have seen the impact of TPFH and Habitat for Humanity in the lives of the people that participated in the program. We believe in the great work of TPFH and Habitat and are honored to be able to help”, says Skip Mathews of Rubble Tile. About Rubble Tile Rubble Tile was founded in 1929 in Minneapolis. In 1991, the current owner, Lila Tully and her husband bought the company. John died in 2000. Rubble Tile is a "woman owned" business that sells ceramic tile and stone in Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin. Rubble Tile has provided tile for a number of Habitat homes in the Twin Cities area over the last several years. About Tile Partners for Humanity Formed in 2002, TPFH is a partnership between the tile industry and Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit organization working to eliminate substandard housing around the world. Industry partners provide tile, setting materials, tools, floor preparation materials, cleaners and sealers, labor and installation training to Habitat affiliates interested in building with tile. TPFH is a 5013c organization that grants tax relief for donations of materials or other support for our partnership.
