Local Wilderness School Becomes Green Care-Taker

PR Log (Press Release) – Aug 27, 2009 – Sticks and Stones Wilderness school has been teaching children and adults about the wilderness and how to survive.  Their goals aren't just to teach how to create fire with friction, identify wildflowers and make tradtional bow’s though.  Sticks and Stones hope that by connecting with nature, people will be more open to ecological conservation.

Kimbercote Farms is a non-profit ecological retreat centre that is located in he Beaver Valley.  It is situated on 100-acres of pristine and scenic land.  Sticks and Stones is working on a care-taking plan that will ensure the well being of the farm for future generation.  They will make sure there is a constant and dedicated flow of Sticks and Stones students learning and applying the ancient and post modern techniques of how to be effective caretakers of this property.
