Pancha Samskaaram For Veda Vidyaarthis Madhuramangalam Emperumanar Jeeyar Mutt

PANCHA SAMSKAARAM FOR VEDA VIDYAARTHIS:

With the blessings of  His Holiness Sree Sree Sree Yatiraja Ramanuja Jeeyar Swami, the present pontiff of Madhuramangalam Emperumaanar Jeeyar Mutt, the Sreemutt is running a veda & agama Patashala named “ RAMANUJA SIDDAANTHA VARDHINI” which is dedicated for spreading vishitaadvaitha siddantham of bagavath ramanujacharya.

The sreemutt is conducting panchasamkaaram (Samasrayanam) to the new batch of Veda vidyarthis, who have joined the patashala this year.  The ceremony is conducted on 30th August, at 6 to 8 AM in the morning. Samasrayanam/ panchasamkaaram is a very important ritual in sreevaishnava sampradayam, which every sreevaishnava undergoes to become an authorized sreevaishnava as ordained in the sampradayam. The ceremony involves panchasamkaarams consisting of five purificatory procedures, including the adornment of the marks of devine weapons of lord Vishnu (the conch and the discus), urdhvapundra daaranam, daasa namam, initiation to rahasyatrayam mantra and finally the bagavad aaradhana kramam, etc. Hence, we request everyone to join hands in this sacred kainkaryam  and take the blessings of the acharya purusha’s and the lord.

SREEVAISHNAVA OLD AGE HOME:

0n 28th may 2009 , the HH sri Yatiraja narayana ramanuja jeeyar swami, the present pontiff of madhuramangalam Emperumaanaar jeeyar mutt, inaugurated the “SREEVAISHNAVA HOLD AGE HOME” as a service to humanity by the sreemutt. Swami feels that, old people who are not being properly taken care off by their family members or who do not have anybody to take care off, should be brought in to the mutt and help them to spend the last part of their lives in peace and bliss. Also, it helps them to engage themselves in the service of the lord though various activities of the mutt and make their life meaningful. Also it goes in coordination with the saying that “service to humanity is service to GOD”

Hence, we request everyone to join hands in this sacred kainkaryam and contribute whole heartedly for this sacred cause and have the blessings of the jeeyar swami, sri embar swami, and Kamalavalli nachiyaar sametha sree Vaikuntanatha perumaal..
