PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 27, 2009 - Aeonian Brick Homes (ABH), has registered their current residential project with LEED for Homes , a rating system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

Aeonian is the only company in the United State that produces a waterproof, interlocking compressed brick, that can protect families and their possessions during the worst weather conditions, and life altering events.

All home builders that wish to “Build Better Than Green” ©  should contact Aeonian Brick Homes to acquire a license to build with their brick. Every home built by Aeonian’s licensed network of builders will be LEED certified.

ABH is working closely with Nancy St. Hilare, a principle with The Home Energy Group, a green building and energy consulting company that is a certified Home Energy Rater for programs such as LEED® for Homes and ENERGY STAR.

Traditional brick manufacturer’s that are open-minded to mass producing a non-fired, clay-based brick are invited to become licensed manufacturers and distributors of the Aeonian Brick.

Aeonian's  complete building system includes a wall system that will withstand hurricane force winds exceeding 240 mph, and a concrete roofing system that can withstand hurricane force winds up to 300 mph.
