That’s when she learned her personal information had been used in Sacramento to buy Star Wars memorabilia; in Newark to pay for car repairs and in Tampa to open a utility account.

Ms. Cavanaugh will be writing about ID theft prevention and protection, as well as the risks of massive data breaches, viruses and the techniques ID thieves use.
