As a free-lance reporter her articles were also published in The Pulse, the monthly newsletter of the Florida Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Cavanaugh’s five-year battle as an ID theft victim began with a notice from her bank saying her checking account was in the red. That’s when she learned her personal information had been used in Sacramento to buy Star Wars memorabilia;
