TaylorCraft says they offer 1 day lead time on ASAP cabinet door orders and 3 day lead time for larger ASAP orders. “Our customers can service their customers quickly and jobs get done on time even if a couple doors are damaged and need to be reordered or doors need to be added at the last minute,” says Heath Till, COO. “We invested in equipment that performs quick knife change outs and completes most of the door on just 2 machines in a fraction of the time it would take a typical shop to change out tooling for a small job.” Till says they can see as many as 30-40 tool changes on one machine per day.
Owner, James Burrows says cabinetmakers typically ask, “If I break a door or I forget to order a part, how quickly can you get it to me?” He continues, “We want to show cabinetmakers that if our standard 5 day lead time is not fast enough, not only can we get their product to them in 1 to 3 days depending on order size but their door quality will be exceptional because of the CNC quick-change technology we’ve invested in. And any other orders they have with us will remain on schedule.”
