ReadMyOxygen Finger Pulse Oximeter
SFO Medical, a leading manufacturer of medical devices, unveiled yet another innovative power efficient finger pulse oximeter. ReadMyOxygen (RMO) finger pulse oximeter displays highly accurate SpO2/SaO2 and pulse rate at slip of the finger tip in the soft probe of this oximeter. It has integrated sensing probe and its large crystal clear screen features large numeric and bright readings.
The latest organic LED (OLED) technology and high resolution of 160x64 enhances reading capability in any light conditions. ReadMyOxygen has four directional display and six modes which makes its use versatile and convenient based on application. This oximeter is the latest addition to its current line of oximeters which includes SportsChamp PulseOx and TakeMyCare oximeter.
ReadMyOxygen finger pulse oximeter is versatile and can be used in many applications such as sports, home, community, health care, high altitude occupational hazards etc. Hypoxia, low level of oxygen delivery to the different tissues of the body, is one of the major risk at high altitudes and causes damage to major organs including brain. This can hamper pilot's proficiency and pose a risk to on board passengers. With a slip of fingertip in ReadMyOxygen, complete picture of oxygen desaturation is clear and prepares for preventive measures. There are several applications of oximeter in mountain climbing, sports and athletics and ReadMyOxygen is vital companion to avoid emergencies. RMO is an ideal oximeter for high altitude occupational workers.
With less than 25mA operational current consumption, this oximeter becomes the lowest power consuming oximeter on the market. Lower power and automatic sensing is enabled by adaptive polling techniques which elongates battery life and minimizes power consumption. RMO runs on two AAA batteries which can provide 98 hours of continuous monitoring. The oximeter shuts off itself after 5 seconds of ideal time.
The ReadMyOxygen pulse oximeter is one of the only few which has OLED screen with colored OLED display. It is based on optical LED and photo diode reflection technology with sophisticated tables to achieve high accuracy of +/- 1% of SPO2 range in higher saturation conditions. Oxygen Saturation is often referred as SaO2 or SpO2 is ratio of oxyhemoglobin (HbO2) to the total concentration of hemoglobin present in the blood. SFO Medical solves the typical issue of low accuracy of readings at low oxygen saturation levels by its experienced design team. The pulse oximeter uses latest semiconductor technology and high quality of amplifiers to achieve high Signal to Noise ratio giving excellent accuracy (+/- 2%) in low oxygen saturation range.
This finger pulse oximeter has debuted with its first model no. 2500 and comes in two colors: yellow and blue. This model also solves the motion and artifacts by employing its digital signal processing and oversampling/
