Financing or credit card payments through Rypos, Inc is one of five funding options presented in a recent memo from the ARB to help TRU owners comply with the new California Air Resources Board (CARB) TRU ATCM regulations set to go into effect later this year. The new regulation requires all refrigerated trailers and bobtail units that operate in California and that are more than seven years old, to be modified or replaced to reduce particulate matter emissions. Rypos recently began accepting credit card payments for it active diesel particulate filters and also provides financing to purchase or lease diesel particulate filters. The RYPOS DPF/LETRU and the Proventia FTF and Bobtail FTF, both exclusively distributed in North America by Rypos, enable TRU fleet owners to retrofit their fleets of Carrier and Thermo King TRUs.

Other financing opportunities included in the ARB memo include California Capital Access Program (CalCAP) under the California Pollution Control Financing Authority (CPCFA; Cascade Sierra Solutions (CSS); Rural Assistance Center (RAC)/Community Development Transportation Lending Services (CTAA). Grants are available for qualified TRU owners through the ARB Carl Moyer Program.
The Rypos DPF/LETRU is a highly effective self-cleaning diesel exhaust filter that uses an electrically conductive sintered metal fiber medium and electrical power from the TRU to regenerate the filter when needed. The Proventia FTF and the Proventia Bobtail FTF, both passive flow-through filters that use engine exhaust temperature to regenerate the filters.
