Joe Sernio, and actress Lauren Potter have signed with Lightning Films in Nick Pavanos "Compulsive"
Pavano's last film starring Sernio "The Roadhouse" went on to selling out It's Garden State Film Festival world Premiere, which ended by the film winning Best Picture/Viewers Choice, and Best original song in a feature for Chris Leones "This Ocean Drive". The film also went on to a few other festivals winning numerous awards.
Compulsive will offer the world's first web series to feature a storyline driven exclusively by the viewers.
The story is about, Chris Donner (Joe Sernio) who appears to be a stable, successful, independent family man. The Donner family has never had to worry about the hardships of life. Along with his wife Vanessa (Lauren Potter) and daughter, Emily, they are well off living in a quaint suburban neighborhood in central New Jersey. During the two years of their marriage, Alex has been under the impression that Chris is a regional bank manager, traveling the north east overseeing three dozen branches. Kept in the dark and blind to the truth, what Alex's beliefs are as to what Chris does when he's away on "business trips" couldn't by any farther from the truth. In fact, only a select few actually know what Chris does…a select few that don't live to tell about it.
Chris Donner is an assassin for hire. A lethal, living, breathing hitman whose only source of income is from taking the lives of others for a fee most couldn't fathom. No one knows Chris's secret.
In "Compulsive"
The series is set to air via internet late October 2009. This will be Sernio and Potters first film together with Lightning Films.
