Unified Messaging for Windows Essential Business Server 2008 - serVonic IXI-UMS for SMB

PR Log (Press Release) – Aug 25, 2009 – Both Microsoft’s products SBS and EBS are particularly designed for the operation at small and medium-sized companies and offer SMB the same server technologies as provided to large enterprises.

With IXI-UMS, serVonic provides a unified messaging- and fax server-solution that is scalable according to the customers’ needs and that can be integrated seamlessly in environments with Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and in the Microsoft variants for SMB. serVonic’s solution is graded according to the number of users, channels and services. A subsequent upgrade with further channels, users or services is also possible later on – without reinstallation, only by changing the license key. The IXI-UMS software is a Single Store-solution, this means a separate data management and separate data storage for the IXI-UMS user data and the UMS-messages are not necessary: Messages and routing information can be managed by the administrator in the Microsoft Exchange Server directly, user data and permissions in the Active Directory.
