How do search engine finds contents relevant in a website:-
   
      When a site is created the search engine spiders or crawlers visit that website and checks out its content that are embedded in text and then takes a snapshot of the site and stores the keywords of the site. When a query comes around by the user based on the keyword its checks out its database to find the best possible answers for the query and then lists the answers in a decreasing order according to the possibilities of matching the query.

So when a website is created or promoted to get high page ranking we should look after the relevant text to the keywords given. By this manner the website owner can get its product marketed, achieve a higher rank, and will get good amount of visitors or traffic.
How to get to the First Position in Search Engine Results ?
      There are many factors that affect the ranking of the websites which is being considered by checking the top ranked websites in search engines.
But some important factors are:-
1. Pick a leading keyword phrase that you want for the page to rank for irrespective of less competitions and  high hitrates.
2. Pick a couple of derived keyword phrases related to the main keyword phrase that can describe the website’s value.
3. Put the leading keyword phrase at the beginning of the list of keywords in your meta tags to make it visible clearly to the spider.
4. Include the derived keyword phrases in the metatag list.
5. Use the leading keyword phrase in the metatag description to make your site more relevant than others.
6. Put the leading keyword phrase in the Title of the page to make the keyword more visible to the user.
7. Use the leading keyword between H1 Header tags in the content area to make the site more relevant.   
8. Use ALT-Tags:-Put keywords in alt-text or as anchor text in the images. Keep the images relevant to the type of site.

1. Seek out other sites to request reciprocal links with them.
2. Submit site’s URL in different sites to get a link in their site.
3. Do the bookmarking of site’s contents description with primary keyword phrase to get instant links.
4. Write articles and distribute them to article directories (10+ articles)
5. Write short paragraphs with your anchor link included and post to various micro-blogs
6. Leave helpful comments on blogs
