National Day Interschool Tshirt Design Competition Winners Announced

PR Log (Press Release) – Aug 25, 2009 – ASKnLearn, a premier Pan-Asian provider of education solutions and services, and JuJups Jr. - a design portal announced the winners for the islandwide interschool design competition for National Day.

The winners are:
Primary School Category
•   Tabassum Nazir from St Margaret’s Primary School
•   Ong Pei Ling from Juying Primary School
•   Lim Ming Er from Juying Primary School
•   Wang Kevin from Xingnan Primary School
•   Chai Chew Yee from Fernvale Primary School

Secondary School and Junior College Category
•   Marlin Sahari from Chong Boon Secondary
•   Chung Ka Yi from Ping Yi Secondary School
•   Clarisa Madilao from Singapore Chinese Girl's School
•   Hanna Louise Stone from St. Margaret's Secondary School
•   Erfa Riizah Razi from Tanjong Katong Girls School

More than 400 entries were received and 10 top students received prizes which included a Tshirt printed with their very own designs. This competition was ope to all schools of Singapore. Students also actively voted on one another’s designs. The final designs were chosen by a panel consisting of Mr Victor Yuk—CEO of ASKnLearn, Dr Sivam Krish—CEO of Genometri, and Ms Sabrina Long—Head of 3D Design Department in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.

The judges commented on the expressive quality of many of the designs. The JuJups design platform allows students to create designs by dragging and dropping design elements from design collections. Hundred of distinctive designs may be created from a single collection. The results were quite surprising.
