PRLog - Aug. 24, 2009 - Thought Inc.®, the Enterprise Data Solutions & ORM Company, announces a new milestone in JPA round trip development for Eclipse based Development environments. This new release addresses the problem of keeping business object models synchronized with the database models during application development. This release provides round trip synchronization for standalone and  eclipse development environments. This is a key business issue facing development organizations because of the direct impact on profitability. The lack of synchronization results in decreases in productivity, degraded data accuracy, and reduced ability of the application to sustain performance, reliability and scalability requirements. As the industry leader in guiding development organizations to success with managing and persisting enterprise data, it was important to solve this problem for our customers. The result is a full round-trip engineering development process for managing enterprise data in corporate applications.

Thought Inc.® works directly with development organizations to identify key issues and problems they are having with managing enterprise data in their applications. We provide a combination of enterprise technology and expert-level services to solve these issues for the customer. We focus on the issues that the customer is open to and needing to solve. The typical result is successful resolution of the these issues through implementation of appropriate solutions. This leads to a long term business relationship where the customer makes Thought Inc.® an important resource for delivering their mission critical business initiatives.

The new release of CocoBase® JPA v5.5 sr5, now includes data model synchronization facilities that allows the developer to seamlessly cope with changes to both the application and database models.  This functionality integrates into the eclipse IDE and other team development tools such as database design, object modeling and CASE/IDE based tools. This results in much improved developer productivity and reduces overall development organization costs. Developers can easily manage synchronizing changes to either the database or Java code within the CocoBase® GUI standalone Workbench or the integrated Eclipse workbench facilities. This directly facilitates implementing an efficient overall development approach by keeping the ORM mapping in sync with changes being made elsewhere in the environment, as well as helping to avoid errors and issues resulting from incomplete mappings. This new release of CocoBase includes a "live-synch" infrastructure for the CocoBase Eclipse Plug-in which handles realtime nofication of changes in the development model and synchronize those changes to the persistence model saving incredible amounts of time and resources for developing JPA applications.
