Dade Medical College is now enrolling students from their new Homestead Campus located at 381 N Krome Ave, Homestead, FL 33030. Students can now sign up for introductory classes that will begin on September 8, 2009 and choose from diploma and or Associate of Science degree programs including: Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography, Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound, Massage Therapy and Medical Assistant.
School CEO Ernesto Perez offers: “We are excited and honored to be part of the revitalization of the historic downtown Homestead area. Our goal is to contribute to the vision of Mayor Lynda Bell, the City Council and many citizens, which is to remake the area into a safe, family-friendly place in the spirit of Miracle Mile.”
Financial aid is available to those who qualify and there is additional aid available in the form of Federal grants and scholarships. The new campus is housed within 10,500 square feet on the ground floor, features spacious classrooms and laboratories, a lounge, a library / resource center and administrative office space and will have created approximately 20 to 30 new jobs within a year’s time.

Dade Medical College is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools and is licensed by the Florida Commission for Independent Education, to which Perez was recently appointed commissioner by Gov. Charlie Crist. The college is also a member of the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges, where Perez and COO Dean Bartness serve as Board Members.
