Comics in St. Louis, MO will perform stand-up sets about President Obama. Some will certainly be pro-Obama, and some will be anti-Obama and some may even tread in the cautious middle. This will happen at The Improv Trick's Comedy Underground at 2715 Cherokee, St. Louis, MO 63118. The Improv Trick was started by Bill Chott (Wizards of Waverly Place, The Ringer, Galaxy Quest). The show will be performed at 7:30 pm on September 12, 2009. Opening music will be performed by Dan Niewoehner and Dave Harris, former bandmates in the seminal St. Louis band, Free Dirt.
A Laugh at Obama's Expense Won't Increase the Deficit.
Every President has jokes made about them, but Obama has received kid glove treatment. Yes, we love Obama - but it doesn't mean we can't poke a little good-natured fun, or even some bad-natured fun. St. Louis leads the nation in crime, smokers and fatties. Now it's time for St. Louis to lead the nation in razzing President Obama.
This is a BYOBeverage event. Tickets are $5.00.
Comics will include Doug Golden (The Network, Brand X Comedy Troupe) and Improv Trick producer Marc Pruter (The Big Stinkin' International Improv & Sketch Comedy Festival, Austin, TX).
