FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug 23, 2009 -
The Fuller Brush Company has joined forces with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to fight breast cancer. Whenever select Fuller “pink” products are purchased, Fuller Brush will make a donation between 25¢ and $1.00 to the Foundation on your behalf.

Originally founded by Alfred C. Fuller, Fuller Brush has been cleaning, polishing and protecting households and businesses since 1906. By 1950, Fuller Brush was a household name associated with premium quality brushes, mops, brooms and, a variety of cleaning products, brought directly into a customer's home by one of Fuller's friendly door-to-door salesmen. Since partnering with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in March of 2008, Fuller Brush has contributed more than $5,000 to breast cancer research with a minimum contribution target of at least $10,000.

Established in 1993, by Evelyn Lauder, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation is dedicated to funding breast cancer research in the private sector. BCRF supports research focused on clinical and genetic causes and cures for this cancer, as well as cancer prevention. In the US alone, more than 2.7 million people are survivors of breast cancer thanks to this research. The BCRF spends at least 85¢ of every dollar donated directly on funding research. Since its beginning, the foundation has raised more than $237 million.

In her blog, Thoughts From Rural America (http://newenglanddeb.typepad.com), Deborah Walker has written a short series of articles on a lesser known type of breast cancer that strikes young women and is not generally identified by the discovery of a lump during self-breast exams called inflammatory breast cancer. To read about inflammatory breast cancer, its symptoms, treatment and prognosis, as well as how this type of breast cancer has touched the lives of thousands of women, visit her blog Thoughts From Rural America at http://newenglanddeb.typepad.com/.

Scientific research to find a cure for breast cancer during our lifetime can only continue if there is money to fund it. You can help make sure that money is available by purchasing one of Fuller’s pink products:  the Sweep-it-Away broom, the Wipe-it-Away microfiber cloths, the Scoop-it-Away clip-on dust pan or the Dust-it-Away fluffy duster. When any of these pink products are purchased, Fuller Brush will donate up to $1.00 per purchase to the BCRF. As with all Fuller Brush products, these pink products are made to last and last and come with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Your independent Fuller Brush distributor, Deborah Walker, is available to assist you with your order. She is ready to fulfill the cleaning supply needs of households and businesses throughout New England and beyond. Business hours are by appointment. Delivery to your door available.
