Coming off of the indie film "Youthful Journeys of the World" and about to go into the new feature "Nonsense" starring Josh Stevenson, Carolyn Bolin, Ozzie Carnan Jr, Mandy Pauline, Adam Schomer, among others; in addition to several new tv series and a $25 Million thriller-horror film, Andy Harvey is growing his company.
It seems there is never enough for this young writer, producer, director and entrepreneur;
Andy Harvey Enterprises, LLC has been handling all forms of business including Production over the years, though now with the Andy Harvey Studios production company, Andy is expanding the company to include "acquisition, distribution, production and licensing" as he put it. Although, of course, always the aloof, elusive, mysterious filmmaker, Andy Harvey and his representatives would say much about what the expansion will involve.
"Well it was always a dream and a goal of mine to have my own studio space and distribution wing so that I could cut out any middle men in the process of making movies" Andy said Monday morning. "Luckily the expansion will include acquisition of other films from outside companies, as small and smaller than mine, and from young filmmakers who may not otherwise be seen. This way we can find those little gem-films that may not be known about and hopefully give them the exposure they need to succeed."

"There's a lot of little films out there that are never seen or read about and they just disappear because the producer or director simply didn't have the resources or money to get it out to the world. Hopefully we can come in, purchase at least the North American distribution rights and help their films be seen."
"In addition, of course, the expansion is oriented at (possibly) distributing our own films as well, big and small. This will mean that 'Youthful Journeys of the World' for instance may get a limited theater release in North America if another distributor doesn't pick it up first once it's completed. Not the release size of 'Spider-man' but a nice, limited release to major cities in North America, Canada and on DVD."
Additional facts about the expansion are set to be released later this month and into September when the expansion is finalized. No word yet on where or if this will include an actual, physical studio space with sound stages or not. It is Andy's open goal to have his own studio space but nothing has been said yet as to whether or not that will be happening in 2009.
