Amber Electrical & Mechanical Ltd become Pontypridd RFC main sponsors

Aug. 22, 2009 - PRLog -- Pontypridd RFC is delighted to announce an enhanced three year partnership package with local company Amber Electrical. It is an agreement which will now see the company become the main club sponsor.

Amber already has a successful two year relationship with Pontypridd RFC, and this new deal builds on the existing alliance between the two organisations. The agreement will be for three seasons commencing 2009 – 2010, and will see Amber’s distinctive logo on the front of the Ponty shirt, as well as at various points around the stadium, with the clubhouse complex still to be known as the "Amber Bar".

Peter Howells, Hon. Director of Finance for Ponty Rugby Ltd, commented:

"From the first day that Amber discussed a sponsorship proposal with the club, we hoped that it would develop into a flourishing long term relationship.

We have been working closely with the company for the last few months and, following a highly successful two year association, we are delighted to announce the continuation of our partnership with Amber for three more exciting years.

The deal, which will see Amber take the role of main club sponsor, is part of a concerted attempt by the club to drive forward our ambition for improvements both on and off the field."

Amber Electrical will head a number of local, national and international companies who are in partnership with Pontypridd RFC - not least Egan Waste Ltd who have been main club sponsors over recent years. Egan Waste remain committed to their association with the club, and will continue this connection as a major sponsor. Pontypridd RFC wishes to express their gratitude to Egan Waste for their valued contribution in the past, and are delighted that they will still be a prominent partner of the club into the future.

The company was established in 1997 and was structured around the building of long term and lasting relationships with blue chip companies and clients alike, investing heavily into staff, the structure and the business itself. We have showed an unrivalled commitment to the industry resulting in a secure company employing 100 staff to date, and continually growing from strength to strength.

What we do

We are an electrical and mechanical contractors working in and around the Rhondda Cynon Taf area. Our core business is in the industrial and commercial sector carrying out electrical, mechanical, fire and security, data, CCTV, inspection and testing, as well as air conditioning and ventilation systems.

We continually improve our systems, the service delivery and our company alike. We take our responsibility to the environment very seriously and take an active role in the sustainability and regeneration of the Rhondda Cynon Taf area.

New for 2009-2010

We have recently gained ISO 9001:2008 for our quality systems, are working on the ISO 14001 accreditation for the environment, and continue to maintain our exceptionally high standards for quality. We continue to grow despite 'the recession' and have expanded our company by 20% over the last 18 months.

We are members of all the governing bodies which surround our industry including NIC EIC, ECA, Corgi, NQA, CHAS, Safe Contractor, JIB, Construction Line, JTL and Molex.

In March 2010 we will be moving into our purpose built new office complex in Treforest, Pontypridd- AMBER HOUSE which will not only contain all our departments under one roof, have conference facilities, stores and trade counter but will also have sufficient  room to expand our company even further to accommodate our plans for the following years.

We are excited about the plans for the future of Amber Electrical and Mechanical, looking forward to next year where we already have a very healthy order book and strive towards growing relationships with our excellent customer base, continuing to supply a first class service on time every time.
