Patriot Sector 5 DD3 for P55

Aug. 22, 2009 - PRLog -- Sector 5 is the name of a new series of high performance RAM modules from Patriot specifically designed for the P55 chipset. The Patriot Sector 5 series is aimed at high end gaming computers and are sold in 4Gb kits (2x2Gb).

The new P55 motherboards for the Lynnfield CPUs feature dual-channel memory controllers and Patriot have announced they soon will launch a new series of memory engineered for the P55 boards. The series offer the user two choises: an "extreme" version called Sector 5 Viper II and a "standard" version which offers a little less performance but is also more moderately priced, the Sector 5 G series. The Sector 5 Viper II modules will be bundled with 3DMark Vantage which is a benchmarking program created by Futuremark. This will allow the user to test a new system and compare the results with most other tests worldwide, since 3DMark Vantage is a widely used program.
