The Savannah Cat Shoppe
The Savannah Cat Shoppe is the very FIRST of its kind that offers the public the unprecedented ability to interact with the highly sought after Savannah cat and, when available, purchase a “cub” directly from the store.
What is a Savannah? It is a registered cat breed that was derived by mating an African Serval with a pedigree domestic cat. Savannahs come in varying generations, which dictates its size, spotting, behavioral traits and pricing. The Savannah is well-known with discerning pet owners and in many cases rival the dog as the favorite animal companion. This is due to their extraordinary physical appearance, loving personality and amazing intelligence. Savannahs are often seen walking on a leash or playing “fetch” with their owners. Savannahs require no special licensing or different care than ordinary house cats. However, unlike ordinary house cats, these cats are difficult to breed and their population is expected to remain relatively low.
The founders of Bella Gattini Cattery bring us The Savannah Cat Shoppe and are established breeders of the Savannah, having only the finest, first generation Savannah cats from the original founder of the breed in their program.

Joyce Sroufe started breeding Savannah Cats in the late 1980s and started to register first litters in 1994. She is well known among exotic cat owners and breeders as the original founder of the Savannah Cat Breed and an expert in the breeding and care of exotic cats.
