Aug. 21, 2009 - PRLog -- A local puppy rescue is placing a big paw forward by organizing its first annual 5K Run/Walk.  The event is to promote animal health awareness and raise funds to support the operations of the Brighton based rescue organization.   At 16 years and running, Lifeline Puppy Rescue focuses on rescuing puppies that lack care or would otherwise be euthanized, and providing care to the pups before placing them into loving homes.
“It’s a great cause.  I’ve never felt so happy with a job before this.  I make a difference every day and am dedicated to furthering the goal of a no-kill nation,” says Jack Epner, Outreach Director at Lifeline.
“I got the WORLD'S Best Puppy from you!!!  He is the best most loving well behaved beautiful Dog I have ever had.  My experience with your organization was stellar,” says adopter Kellie Swedlund.
The run/walk will take place on October 4th at Sloan’s Lake Park in Denver, CO.  The start time is 8:30am.
